Being at the heart of all dance disciplines, Ballet technique is incredibly valuable to every dancer. Strength, grace, fitness and posture are all key to this classical style and the new IDTA Ballet syllabus encourages the very best standard from students whatever their physicality. Technique and discipline are balanced with fun in a style that is amazing both to watch and perform. And it’s Miss Kate’s favourite too!

Did You Know? British choreographer and dance superstar Matthew Bourne began formal dance training when he was 22 years old! So you don’t need to be very small to start on a great journey into the dance world.

These classes are designed to improve strength and technique in older children. Perhaps you have chosen Dance as a subject at school and want a few helpful tips on making it look great? A strong grounding in classical and jazz technique can really boost confidence and performance style whatever your age.

For adults


These classes are aimed at ladies and gents with experience of grade 6 and above (no pointe work).
