Did You Know? Streetdance can be any style which started outside dance studios eg the street, parks, school playgrounds and includes B-boying, Hip Hop and Pop.

The coolest dance style around! Derwent Danceworks Street classes include a mixture of Streetjazz, Hip Hop, locking, popping and the basics of Breakdance too. Aimed at older children and teenagers, all you need is plenty of enthusiasm and attitude! Streetdancers work towards medal tests and performances in our annual shows. Classes are currently available in Thorganby, Escrick and Knavesmire and all students work towards IDTA medal tests.
